Image Processing: All price tag scanning and text recognition processes occur exclusively on your device using Google ML Kit. We do not store, upload, send or transmit your photos or scanned data to our servers or any third parties. Images are processed in real-time and deleted immediately after use.

Recognized Text: The numeric data extracted from price tags is temporarily held in memory only for the duration of the conversion calculation and is not stored permanently.

2.2 Exchange Rate Data

API Requests: To convert prices between currencies, the app sends anonymous network requests to exchange rate API services to obtain current exchange rates. These requests do not contain any personal information about you or your device.

Offline Fallback: The app includes default exchange rate data that is used when no internet connection is available on first launch. This data is stored locally in the app.

2.3 Application Settings

Preferences: Your application preferences are stored locally on your device, including:

• Selected base and target currencies
• Preferred language (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese)
• Theme preference (Light, Dark, or System Default)
• Active currencies for quick selection

2.4 Data We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do not collect:

• No Server Storage: Your photos and scanned data never leave your device
• Secure Processing: All ML Kit text recognition happens on-device

• Scanned Images: Deleted immediately after processing (not retained)
• Currency Data: Stored locally until you clear app data or uninstall
